Tomorrow I am 23 and a half.
Growing up, we never celebrated half birthdays. Never! I don't think my mom, dad or any other family member mentioned it even once. But in the Walker family, we do! On March 7th, 2010, two college kids pulled into a parking lot and the boy college kid whipped out a "Happy Birthday" sign and blew a horn right in the girl's face. Then he gave her a Dora the Explorer doll. That was three months after we met. And yes I have since donated that doll to the Good Will, but can still remember the song she sang about "friends."McKay has never forgotten my half-birthday. Last year, I think he said "It's your half birthday today!!!!!!!!!!" And I was probably like "okay. cool. thank you." I really don't care about them for me. Except I care about the one this year, because I really think McKay is going to forget about it. And if he does, it will be documented on this blog. I miss him lately. He has been really busy. Today he got home from work and he went to Scouts. As I type this, he is doing our taxes. Two days ago, we needed a "date," so we rented Breaking Dawn Part II (because we have never seen it). Omgsh. The virtual baby. It was SO BAD. SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO BAD. But I do have to admit, I did almost get teary-eyed in the tribute thing at the end. It just reminded me of the summer I read the books and fell in love with Edward. But the movie Edward was not my Edward sooo.... Oh and also, Kristen Stewart is the most awkward mom ever. EVER. Every time she conversed with her child I wanted to die.
What else is on my brain...
oh yes! Tonight while searching for pics (the pics up there are really old, but I love them, so I wanted to post) I came across tons and tons of things that made me laugh. At the top of my made-me-laugh list are the following two photos. But first, I have to explain.
Do you guys know about the oh-so-popular iPhone app called Snapchat? Waellllll. My brothers are Snapchat MASTERS. Particularly, the middle brother. He has a cute "friend" who he loves to Snapchat with and they send each other lovely pics of them posing in their cutest poses. My brother's pose is always the same (and I am mad because I actually saw a picture of him doing an actual Snapchat and I cannot find it!) but the girl's poses are always cute and kind of tempting. Not in an inappropriate kind of way, just in a teenage girl I'm-going-to-highlight-my-lips or I'm-going-to-make-the-lighting-make-me-look-really-tan in this photo kind of way. I'm sure I would have done the same.
ANYWAYS when my mom, gma and I took my brother to college, he was snappin' away for most of the weekend. We girls got bored in the hotel room, so we decided to practice and do some flirtatious snaps of our own. Everyone might think I'm a brat because I am not posting mine, but that's only because the one I made was of me nursing, trying to make it look sexy and you can kind of see my tatas. And obviously it was a joke. But here are my mom and grandma's! ;)
