My Christmas Wish(ful thinking) List

1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9

This year, McKay and I decided to do just stockings. Last year we did just stockings too but McKay upstaged me and got me Photoshop- so embarrassing because I just got him a scarf, body wash and other anti-climactic things. So this year, I have been watching our bank account like a hawk. And I drove to the bank and picked up $50 bills and today I handed him one- instructing him it was all he could use. And then he said "do I have to spend all of it?"
hahaha

So, here is my "wishful thinking" Christmas list- which was still really fun to make! Comments are as follows,

1&2. I saw these at Target the other day and I stopped my cart to stare at them and try them on. But then I looked at the price. They are $16 each. That seemed so expensive to me. Maybe it's cause they were at Target. Maybe I am just cheap.

3. I love this thing.

4. Obviously this goes with the camera I want, but the camera is just SO out of my league, that I thought that the lens would be more appropriate for this list. The camera will be on my "One day when I'm a millionaire I will buy this" list.

5. Love this thing too. Perfect for my boring jersey black mom dresses.

6. I look for these every time I am at Nordstrom. It's funny because I think I used to hate these kinds of boots, but now I love them!

7. To make my ugly buns pretty

8. I tried this on on Black Friday and told McKay I didn't need it while giving him my please justify this for me face. Now it is on sale, but I still can't justify it.

9. Have you ever tried the chocolate from the Bistro? My real pick for this list would be the little chocolate mint sticks they give you after a meal, but they don't have those on the website. Today though, I went there and I asked for the sticks and so a man put a bunch of them in a jar for me and let me buy them. Then I felt bad because I realized that when I was in high school and I would purposely sit by the cash register and grab those sticks while eating my meal I was actually stealing. So I should probably go talk to Norstrom soon.

  3. Those boots are on my list this year, too! One of my roommates had them a few years ago and I thought they were weird, now I love them! Haha... And the mint chocolate sticks at Nordstrom are the best things ever! I always eat Clay's...

  4. Love those Target bracelets! Sometimes I feel that Target is expensive, too! Does that scream, "Sarah and Ali are CHEAP?" Yes, yes it does and I am totally okay with it!

  7. Love your picks! You sound like me with the camera lens... except I have a decently nice camera and not enough time to use it. You're a super woman, I'm convinced! I love that you called it your "wishful thinking" list... makes it a little easier to dream right? Ha Happy holidays!

  8. Seriously, Target bracelets are my FAV... but they are too darn pricey for my taste. Is it just me or is Target getting pricier and I'm getting cheaper?! lol! Love every last one of your picks.. ESPECIALLY #3!!

  9. uugh i hear you on target proces. $25 doesn't seem outrageous for a top, but when it's from target i'm like, "naaaaah...." i just feel like things there should be cheaper!

  11. This is funny. I am currently browsing the internet trying to put a list together for Curtis... I have nothing. Except those boots. And I though, I wonder what Ali wants? You always have the cutest stuff! Love it all.

  15. Did you know you don't *need* a hair donut to make a sock bun? They're called sock buns because women used to (and still do!) use socks to make them. All you do is cut the toe off of a long-ish sock (think: men's dress socks-I even used a knee-high nylon that you buy for $1 a pair or something) and roll it. There are tons of tutorials on YouTube. The longer your sock piece, the bigger your bun will be; the shorter your sock piece, the smaller. Your list is great!
