General Conference Weekend

Only one of the best weekends of the whole entire year.

Twice a year, the leaders of our Church come together and they teach us.

We get to hear from our Prophet and lots of other amazing people.
The lift, inspire, comfort, and encourage.
And everyone could always use a little of that, right?
It was the best.

You can hear or watch it here.

We spent most of our time this weekend lounging and eating (that part was actually not much different from any other weekend). I also decided that McKay and I were going to paint the hall upstairs. Jax did not cooperate, so McKay had to paint the whole entire thing pretty much alone. It was sad. I had to nurse Jax in our bonus room with the door shut and watch TV.
darn it. haha.

Sunday, we went to grandma and grandpa's house where two terrible things happened.

 Number One
this was located.

This is a great example of a whytheheckdidyouletmewearthis??!!! photo.
Sixth grade. Halloween. I am usually okay with full disclosure on this thing, but I just cannot show my eyebrows that I plucked myself. The bob is enough.

Number Two
actually, just a terrible thing my uncle did to himself.

Crocs & socks.
or, just Crocs...
either or.

  1. That pic with the baby is super adorable! lol at the Croc picture!

  2. I love your first picture. It's adorable! Crocs with socks? haha. that's funny but they're really comfy.

Want to win $50 worth of clothing? Come join my MIXMOSS giveaway!!! :)

  3. That seems like a typica Rich thing to do. Haha

  4. I'm glad you had such an inspiring weekend! Love walking away from one like that. LOVING the crocs and socks, hahahah. That is so funny. The only time I've seen Crocs work is in a camping scenario (I didn't wear them) but they made total sense, other than that- they are just funny.

Wish we could see the eyebrows!

  5. I have a pair of pants just like the ones you're wearing in the first picture. I love them and when I'm in them we're inseparable.
