Today he had his four-month shots. Last night, McKay and I were laying in bed and I was dreading it. Luckily, McKay took an early lunch and went with me today so I didn't have to be alone.
I know...this is not about me...but seriously, his two-month shots were a little traumatic. Right when the nurse poked him, he opened his mouth, scrunched his whole face, closed his eyes...and didn't make a sound for three seconds. Then, it was the loudest, saddest cry I have ever heard my baby make. I went to the grocery store afterwards and McKay met me there on his break. We met in the produce department and I was still crying. Needless to say, it was nice having McKay there today.
McKay held Jax and gave him to me right afterwards. Jax only cried a little bit the first time and got a little bit sadder after the second shot, but calmed down within seconds. We both felt A LOT better with McKay there. No one makes Jax happier than his daddy does! Seriously... not even his mom!
Four months is the best. It is so cute seeing the new things that Jax does every day.

Still trying really hard to roll from his back to his front
Learning how to swallow food (sometimes his tongue gets in the way!)
Had bananas for his FIRST time today. It was his first fruit!
Rolled over once from his tummy to his back all by himself
Laughs really hard at dad
Laughs when dad tries to "scare" him
Always wants to stand up (makes Sundays in church VERY tiring)
Smiles and laughs at people who talk to him
Grabs things all the time with his hands
Puts things in his mouth
Bites really hard and drools a lot more!
Whines when he is falling asleep
Sleeps better when he cuddles with mom
Loves to watch the TV, especially children songs!
Still flexes his little fingers when he sleeps or gets startled
Does most things with his left hand...we think he might be left-handed!
Is great in the car...as long as mom is in the back seat with him!
I love you more than anything in the whole world Jax and feel so lucky every day that I get to be your mom.
hes growing FAST and is ADORABLE! well be there for christmas, so hopefully ill get to hold him
