You Guys

Shirt: GMAS (I know.); Pants you can barely see: Gap

There is something that I need.

And it's this:

And this thing that I need has a price tag that makes me want to puke.
I have been researching and comparing and reading and pondering and sending annoying messages asking for advice, and am 100% completely sure that this is the one. And I have scenario-ized in my head like what about later? maybe when it's more reasonable... etc. etc. etc.
But I just can't wait until I am old and can justify it more and the only thing I have to take pictures of is my cat and the pink flamingos in my yard. Kidding.. :)
So last night I called my mom- who (besides my dad) is the only person I call for advice when I need it to be encouraging, non-judgemental, practical, and tailored to me and who I am and what I love. And she said to go for it. And I asked her if there was anything that she and my dad bought when they were young that was "too expensive for their age" (you know those kinds of things I'm talking about??)
And she said yes, an armoire.

So McKay and I talked, and we had two plans to save up for this thing:

1. Get a mason jar and stick all our extras in there until we have enough. Then look around our house and Craigslist what we can. I don't want to do this plan because a. I donate things constantly that we don't use- I hate hoarding- so we could probably earn like $2 on our stuff. b. It will take foreverrr.

2. Make something to sell.

And thus begins my journey of becoming an ETSY girl.

I'll show you on Monday.

??

clueless.

Although I must say it's not about the body, but it's all about the lens.

  19. We have that camera at work and I've been saving for one of the lesser models and recently decided to go big or go home and get this one as well. I know that it'll suck to wait longer to get it, but it'll be totally worth it to get the better one in the long run. So here's to us and saving and earning our way there! Good luck!

  30. It took me 9 months to save up for my DSLR, but I LOVE IT. Best purchase ever. I will say that when you save up and have the money, there's no guilt involved, so I would recommend waiting until you have $. You can do it!
