The Saturday before Halloween, we took you to the pumpkin patch. You fell asleep in the way there, and the entire way there, it was raining! I was so sad, because it was your first time at a pumpkin patch, and I wanted to get pictures. We all bundled up in coats and went out in the rain and the mud. The first thing we did was pick our pumpkin. You loved walking around and touching all the pumpkins. Daddy explained to you what they were while I took lots and LOTS of pictures of you. You cried a little bit by the pumkins, because it was cold and rainy- so we hurried and picked two pumpkins and went over to a different part of the farm.
Your favorite thing there was the ducks- and right when we got to the "farm" part, you stood there and watched the ducks for a long time. Then we went and played in some cork kernels. You weren't scared, and dad went in there with you until you got used to it. Then I went in there with you and by that time, you were smiling and throwing corn and having so much fun. Then, it was time for the duck race, so we hurried to get a spot so we could watch it. You LOVED it! I think that ducks are your favorite animal. Then we went to see the kittens, but you weren't as interested as mom was... :)
After that, we got some lunch. We got apple pie, a caramel apple, and some pumpkin chile and cornbread. You LOVED the chile, and ate it so well! After that, we walked around a little bit more, and you even got to sit on a tractor!
On of your dad and my favorite things to do, is to show you something new. It's so fun to watch you explore and to see what you like and don't like. You have brought so much happiness and fun to our home. We love you so much Jax!
