Oh V-Day with my boys! Doesn't get much better than that. I woke up to a sweet breakfast from Jax and the whole day was just happy and fun. Usually I have this plan I need to execute and I get kinda stressed but I really tried to plan ahead for this one and just make it all about the boys! We started doing sweetheart boxes last year and we leave little treats and notes for each other every day of February leading up to Valentine's Day. Jax and I get the most into it! He's kind of my little twin- I always know what he'll love cause they are usually the same things I love. He is thoughtful and artistic and creative. Jonah enjoys the candy. On Valentine's morning the boys got a special treat in their box along with an invitation to our "Sweetheart's Dinner." McKay and I never go out on Valentine's Day. I tell him it's because it's too hard to get a reservation anywhere but really I can't imagine spending it out without my littlest loves.
The boys were told to wear their most "special clothes," which they put on right before dinner. Then we had their favorite dinner (pizza) and chocolate heart cakes, which I wish I had a picture of! My favorite nights are spent just like this- my little family in our home.
